Due to a last minute job interview for Mr. and still recovering from my grinchy kidneys, we celebrated Christmas Eve/Morning with my folks. We were a little sad not to have our own personal morning with just The Admiral but we love family, so it all worked out.

We did make sure to bake sugar cookies this year which The Admiral enjoyed...

A little too much....

Another upside of Christmas with the Fam, a real tree! Who doesn't love that smell??

Yes, that is death warmed over next to The Admiral

Mr. getting a game apparently everyone & their mom has. Don't ask me what it is.

The Admiral wasn't quite sure what to do with this present.. A car?

Ahhh, a Grill!

And yet, with all the cool new things... this is what my son ends up playing with.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas with their loved ones!
Presents are nice but I'm just so grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life, my wonderful family and my health. I'll take those over santa's gifts any day of the year. :)

That first picture of him with his eyes shut is so stinkin' cute! Looks like a good Christmas!
