So we're finally moved into our apartment! All that's missing is a bookcase (an essential for me) and then we should be box free. Our view from our patio and living room windows is really pretty (looks out over the complexes huge grass/tree area with a gazebo in the background) and we're on the floor ground level so it's staying nice and cool. The only downside is the bedroom is smaller than we thought because we got a handicapped-equipped apartment. HAHA That means the kitchen is bigger, the bathroom is huge with a small rail in the shower and the hallways are a bit bigger. Oh well. We could barely fit all our nice bedroom furniture (thanks mom and dad!) in there! Once I get a camera pictures will soon follow (the stupid thing died for no apparent reason). It's all dark cherry wood for the sleigh bed, huge dresser with a big mirror and cute end table. We also got some nice couches that go great. I've even got my "home office" all set up in one of the corners.
We haven't had much time to explore yet but know where the church, wal-mart, mall, temple and restaurants are which is basically all you need. :) It's been such a blessing to have our own place again! Both Luke and I have been less stressed already!
