- During Sharing Time we broke into groups to talk about prayer. One sister was telling my class how one day she was just mad at her kids so she prayed & read the scriptures, etc, etc.. My kids fixated on one aspect of that whole conversation. "My mom yells at me." "Sometimes my mom yells at me too.". I'm sure their moms would have appreciated our discussion... haha It's ok because the next speaker talked about praying can help you find lost items (i.e. shoe in her case). They were quickly distracted by the aspect of the story they knew, "Look at my shoes! They have laces but sometimes they get untied"...
- Holding up an Ensign, a teacher asked my class if they recognized it. She mentioned you may have seen your parents read it. One kid said all too honestly, "My parents don't read it very much." Ah, primary - parents are never safe.
- Co-teacher giving lesson & starts story about Nephi building the boat. Wyatt moans, "We knooooow."
And then of course there's The Admiral who has a few other gems besides "bubuch":
Milk = Nook
When Mr. takes him out, if he's good, he'll get him chocolate milk. I'll hear as they come in, "Choco Nook! Choco Nook!"
Pacifer = FaFa
And Mr.'s favorite... Lotion = O Sh*t
Or that's what it sounds like. So of course Mr. likes to ask him... a lot.....

haha seriously this makes me laugh because it's so true! You give an example and then that's what they're stuck on. I also find it funny what some kids say about their parents. What goes on under your roof isn't safe once you have kids lol. Kids say the darndest things right? Also my friend's niece...when asked what her auntie's name is...she would say S*!$ clear as day. In her mind Tiff = S*#% haha
HAHAHA That is hilarious!
